in relation to the Study Timetable mobile application and this website (together, the
"Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of
information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
This privacy notice describes how we use your information if you:

We collect information that you provide directly when you use the Service, for example when
you create an account, sign in, contact support, or manage your schedules and tasks. This
may include:
- Account details such as your email address and, where applicable, your name or
display name.
- Authentication information when you sign in using email/password or third-party
providers such as Apple or Google (handled by those providers and Firebase Auth).
- Schedules and task data, including the schedules, subjects, periods, tasks,
deadlines, and optional score tracking that you create in the app.
- Attachments and notes you choose to upload or create as part of your schedules or
tasks (for example, documents, images, or recordings).
- Support messages and other information you send us when you contact support.
Payment data: If you make purchases or subscribe to paid features, billing and
payment processing are managed through RevenueCat and handled by the Apple App Store
(Apple) or Google Play (Google). We do not store your full payment card details. Please
refer to the relevant app store's terms and privacy policy for more information about how
they process your payment information.
When you use the Service, certain information is collected automatically. This may include:
- Device data: Information about your device (such as device model, operating
system, app version, and language settings) and identifiers used for notifications (such
as push notification tokens and a device identifier for managing reminders).
- Usage and analytics data: Information about how you use the app, such as which
features you use (for example, schedule sharing, task creation, score tracking), screen
views, and basic event data. This is collected via Firebase Analytics (including screen
views and custom events) to help us understand and improve the Service.
- Crash and performance data: Crash logs and similar data that help us diagnose and
fix technical issues.
We may request access or permission to certain features from your device, including:
- Microphone (for recording audio attachments, when you grant permission).
- Photos / photo library (for selecting images and attachments, and for scanning
QR codes from images).
- Camera (for example, to scan QR codes when sharing or importing schedules).
- Notifications so we can send reminders and updates about your tasks and schedules.
- Storage or files (for example, when you upload attachments or save content).
We will only request access to these features when necessary to provide specific
functionality, and you can control these permissions in your device settings.
- To provide and maintain the Service, including creating and syncing your
schedules, tasks, and reminders across devices when you are signed in.
- To enable schedule sharing: When you share your timetable using share codes or QR
codes, users with the valid share code or link may access or import the shared schedule
data. Linked schedules may sync changes between the original and imported copies. Share
access may also be limited or disabled based on expiration or deactivation settings
you choose.
- To send notifications about upcoming tasks, schedule changes, or important updates
related to the Service.
- To improve the Service by analyzing aggregated usage data and crash reports (for
example, using Firebase Analytics) to understand which features are used and to identify
issues.
- To communicate with you, such as when responding to support requests or important
notifications about changes to the Service or this policy.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following
limited situations:
- Service providers: With trusted third-party providers that help us operate the
Service, such as Firebase (for authentication, analytics, and messaging), cloud hosting,
and analytics tools, and RevenueCat (for subscription and billing management). These
providers process data on our behalf and are bound by appropriate confidentiality and data
protection obligations.
- Legal requirements: When required to do so by law or in response to valid legal
requests, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
- Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets,
your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate
privacy protections.
We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide the Service and for
legitimate business purposes, such as maintaining your account, complying with legal
obligations, and resolving disputes.
You can delete your account and associated data from within the app or by following the
instructions on our
User Data Deletion
page. Some limited information may be retained as required by law or for legitimate
business purposes (for example, to prevent fraud), but it will not be used for other
purposes.
- Account information: You can access and update certain account details (such as
your email address or password) from within the app.
- Notifications: You can control push notifications in your device settings or the
app's settings.
- Data deletion: You can request deletion of your account and data as described in
